Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova is a Russian figure skater from Russia. The Russian figure skater was Olympic and World champions in the year 2018. European champions in 2017 and the 2018 Grand Prix Final Champion, and was also the Russian champion for the national championship in 2018. Alina Zagitova, one Russia's most famous figure skaters is the first skater in her country to win Olympic gold and also at the World Figure Skating Championships. She has also won both the European Figure Skating Championships as and her own Grand Prix of Figure skating. This is a completely different view of the gold medalist from PyeongChang 2018. Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva burst into tears following her stunning performance during the women's short-skating program, her first performance since the controversial doping ruling allowed her to continue competing at her Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
